1. Filled gas: welding gas mixture (two gas mixtures, three gas mixtures or multiple gas mixtures)

2. Gas description:

Welding mixed gas, also called welding protective mixed gas, welding protective gas, is a new welding process developed on the basis of the wide application of manual arc welding and submerged arc automatic welding. This new process uses argon + carbon dioxide binary Or the ternary mixed gas shielded welding process, compared with single gas (argon or carbon dioxide) shielded welding, can improve the metal properties and weld formation of the weld, reduce welding spatter, and improve the intrinsic quality of the weld. In many years of gas shielded arc welding practice, it has been found that using mixed gases instead of a single pure gas as a shielding gas can effectively refine droplets, reduce spatter, improve forming, control penetration, prevent defects and reduce the pore generation rate. Therefore, , can significantly improve the welding quality of weldments. Commonly used ternary gas mixtures include Ar-He-CO2, Ar-He-N2, Ar-He-O2, Ar-O2-CO2, etc. Usually the mixing ratio is requested by the customer. The purity of Ar, H2, N2, CO2 and other gases used to prepare the mixed gas is 99.999%. Generally, moisture is regarded as harmful impurities, and H20 is required to be <10mg/m3.

3.Application instructions:

Tungsten inert gas shielded welding, referred to as TIG welding. The main function of the gas is to protect the molten metal from harmful elements such as oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen in the air and moisture. However, it also has a certain impact on the stability of the arc, the transfer form of the droplets, and the activity of the molten pool. Therefore, using different gases will produce different metallurgical reactions and process effects. The main characteristics of gas shielded arc welding are that the arc is visible, the molten pool is small, it is easy to implement mechanization and automation, and it has high productivity. The welding robots that developed rapidly in the 1970s were mainly used for resistance spot welding and gas shielded arc welding. Gas shielded arc welding is suitable for welding metals such as steel, aluminum and titanium. It is widely used in the manufacturing of automobiles, ships, boilers, pipes and pressure vessels, especially in situations where higher quality or all-position welding is required. Gas shielded arc welding can be divided into tungsten inert gas shielded welding and gas metal arc welding according to electrode type. The shielding gas of gas shielded welding is mainly argon, with an appropriate amount of carbon dioxide (15-30%) or oxygen (0.5-5%) added. Compared with carbon dioxide gas shielded welding, this shielded welding has wider welding specifications, better formation, and better quality; compared with molten inert gas shielded welding, the molten pool is more active and the metallurgical reaction is better.

4.Precautions:

The welding mixed gas is a high-pressure filling gas and should be decompressed before use. The packaged gas cylinders have a service life on them. All expired gas cylinders must be sent to a department for safety inspection before they can continue to be used. When exhaust gas is used in each bottle of gas, the residual pressure in the bottle should be kept at 0.5MPa and not lower than 0.25MPa. The bottle valve should be closed to ensure gas quality and safety. Bottled gas products should be classified and stacked during transportation, storage and use. It is strictly forbidden to stack combustible gases and combustion-supporting gases together. They are not allowed to be close to open flames and heat sources. They should be kept away from fire, oil and wax, exposed to the sun, and thrown away again. , Do not hit, it is strictly prohibited to cause arc ignition or arcing on the cylinder, and it is strictly prohibited to load and unload brutally.
